Sebastian is a legacy Genesis resident and has been a leaseholder since 2009.
He is a former medical doctor who had a life-changing accident in 2016. During rehabilitation, he joined his building’s Residents' Association, eventually becoming chair. He also joined the Resident Involvement team; first as a member of the Genesis Scrutiny Panel, then as a member of the Health and Disability Panel and chair of the LGBT+ Panel.
As a medical doctor, he tried to ensure that all patients in his care were treated equally, fairly, efficiently and with dignity. In the same way he wants to be a voice for residents, ensuring they are at the centre of NHG decisions, policies, processes and procedures.
