Notting Hill Genesis (NHG) is governed by a board, which comprises the boards of Notting Hill Genesis (charitable group parent), Notting Hill Home Ownership Limited and Springboard Two Housing Association Limited.
The group board is responsible for setting the overall strategy for the group, financial planning and oversight of our performance. The board is made up of professionals from outside the organisation, our own residents and members of our executive board, bringing a wealth of wide-ranging skills and experience.
The board delegates some responsibilities to five committees, each chaired by a non-executive director, covering customers, investment, audit and risk, finance and treasury, and people & nominations. This work occurs within the context of our legal and regulatory framework, financial regulations and scheme of delegations.
Putting residents’ voices at the heart of the Board’s decision-making is core to the delivery of our Better Together strategy. As part of our resident involvement and engagement framework, a resident forum is in place to strengthen the voice of residents and plays an important strategic role, connecting to the board through reports to the operations committee. The resident forum includes two of our board members, who are residents, one of whom chairs.
The chief executive, Patrick Franco and the executive board ensure that the strategic direction provided by the group board is delivered.
See the group board register of interests documents below for full details of the board members' other commitments.
